TI to Build New Facility

Technical Innovations recently broke ground on its new manufacturing facility in Angleton, Texas. TI plans to move from its existing facility in Brazoria, Texas prior to the end of the year. “TI has out-grown its current facility” according to Gary Cordell, CEO. “The new building will be over 16,000 square feet - more than double the current space” adds Yolanda Chavez, Project Manager.

Angleton is a larger community than Brazoria and will provide access to a larger employment base. Also, the new location will be more convenient to freeways and airports serving the greater Houston area. All of TI’s current employees will remain with the company as the new building is approximately 15 miles from the current building.

“This will be a huge opportunity to set-up our facility in a more efficient layout” says Scott Thompson, Vice President. “The flow of material and product will be optimized in the new space and our customers will benefit from shorter production schedules and faster manufacturing cycles due to the efficiencies.”

The size of the new facility will immediately meet current space requirements as well as the Company’s anticipated near-term growth. Also, the Company owns undeveloped property that will accommodate future building expansion on the site, as needed.
